Student Application System (SAS) is a web based application used for entering student applications into the ERP - Datatel. Prior to SAS, applications were entered into Datatel directly, the result of which Datatel was exposed to the risk of storing incorrect details. Because of this there was a need to have an intermediary system which makes sure that applications entered into Datatel are complete in all respects. SAS helps in accurate entry of application details into Datatel.
The objectives of SAS are, a) Completeness: Make sure that every application entered into Datatel is complete with all the necessary details, b) Accuracy: Details entered are accurate and duly verified. The objectives are achieved by validating applications and listing the missing information in respect of each application, providing facility for tracking and filling-in of missing information in respect of each application after validation and validation is done for 'Online' as well as 'Paper' applications.

The company has multiple systems running on multiple databases. The data is required to be entered into multiple systems multiple times by different departments. This causes data inconsistencies across all systems and doubles and triples the amount of resources needed to enter data. This also has affected revenue reporting and billing as the numbers do not match in all systems.
The Enterprise project is designed to consolidate different systems into one central system with one central (Enterprise) database in order to reduce the data inconsistency and duplication. This application is developed using the PDQ framework using Object Relation Model. This translates the data objects and converts the stored procedures, tables etc and handles security. The Enterprise application has a built in CMS named Site Builder, which can be used to create websites utilizing the enterprise data very quickly.
The company has different systems to support their business namely ILM (Internet Lead Management System), Affiliate Portal, Organic Lead Generation Websites, Customer Information System etc. running in Legacy environment. As a technology partner, QuScient provides technical support to the company's properties and guidance to control the Legacy systems and migrate to the Enterprise application.
With QuScient as their technology partner, the company has brought down the average turn around time for adding a new customer to their system to 5 days, which is one third of the time they used to take. QuScient was able to stream line their process to achieve this.
The Franchise Business Application helps users to register for a Franchise, search for a Franchise and post lead information. Using the existing tool and integrating it with Enterprise helps the company to create multiple Franchise websites utilizing the existing framework with very minimum cost and time.
As part of the web development, QuScient is in the process of developing web properties for the company and its associates. This application makes use of the Enterprise Site Builder utility so that at a later point, the websites should be integrated to their Enterprise application.

- Our onsite team conducted a detailed system study of Advantage and Gradpro
- The proposed system structure was published and created on the centralized server
- Data migration from Gradpro to Advantage was meticulously planned and executed
- Advantage was deployed in a centralized server
- Gradpro was phased out from every campus and Advantage was live in a period of 3 months
- We trained the institute's technical staff on the Advantage product maintenance
